<DIV><BR></DIV>I landed happily yesterday afternoon on JFK and the snowtorm
was over.<BR><BR>Snow is melting fast in Manhattan. Not much left.<BR><BR>I
have been emailing with Shelly and we are going to meet and perhaps<BR>take a
ride. Exaxt time and place has not yet been settled.<BR><BR>If we wait until
Wednesday, most of the snow/slush perhaps has melted away?<BR><BR>Central Park
Wednesday 1 PM?<BR><BR>(Every time I visit New York, I come with snow. Last
time I was here<BR>Jan 2003 and then there was even more that this

Definitely not so here. Here, we have at least a foot of snow on the<BR>>
ground, and "slush" on the sidewalks and roads.<BR>> There are no bike
paths, and sharing a road with cars, trucks and snow banks<BR>> is not
possible.<BR>> Have you touched base with Tapio yet, or is he still in the
air? If you<BR>> do ride, hope you have a good one.<BR>> I hope to do
some rides in the future with other Marsians. In the<BR>> past...the City
has just seemed too far and<BR>> too expensive (tolls, gas, etc), but now,
