[Bent] 5 boro bike ride

I bought my wheels to 'get out of gym', but this winter's snows put a real crimp in that--was able to pedal outdoors pretty much year-round last winter.

I'm not sure of the rate for civilians. My DW gets a corporate rate for both of us. My old gym was almost twice that, even with a corporate discount

Just did a google--Is that the same NYSportsClub that costs $64+ per month?

I like being up front because the majority of the people up there are not first-timers--they can handle a bike and steering in a crowd. In the back, people are packed too close together and one person making a minor adjustment can put a bunch of people on the street.

Last year I was one of the first 200 finishers, even with the rain.

Sounds interesting! Is the object to keep up a good speed to not get overtaken by the crowd (and not be in the way of the fast riders), or just to go whatever speed you wish but avoid some of the slowdowns?

I will be there--finally getting back from my fabulous tib-fib injury. Will be there on the V Rex. I will be up front in a group from NY Sports Club (if you're a member, you can ride in the first group for an extra $10 including lunch).

Me and two other Catrikes. And it's NOT going to rain like it did last year! :-)

I'm riding in the 5 boro bike ride in May. Is anyone else?
