Met those who showed-up for the ride today over in Central Park. While
talking to Andy afterwards decided to see how much interest there is for a
ride over the full length of the Putnan/North Westchester/South
Westchester/Hudson Greenway paths? It is about 65~70 miles, mostly flat
(slightly downhill overall), a few short uphills, and car free except for
about 2~3 miles or so. The start would be Grand Central station in midtown
Manhattan. Take the train to Brewster NY, ride a couple of miles, then take
the paths back to NYC.
I might do it next weekend. Anyone else interested?

Joao,
Is there a length restriction for bikes on Metro North trains?
I recall there is a maximum length allowed.
I have a Gold Rush LWB which might exceed their limits.
