  You're right! 
That's why I have to laugh when my neighbors can't believe I still ride to work in the snow! Its ten times easier riding than climbing over the mountains of snow at the corners of each street or trying jump over the rivers that formed at all the sewers at each corner! The last time we had a this much snow people had to wait in line to cross the street because the path was about 2 feet wide!
They even plowed the Hudson River Bikeway for us,what  luxury! Maybe the cycling community has gained so much power that the city is afraid of us!


 If any of you guys want to come in and hit the road,let me know.The Boathouse a nice little fireplace!
The weather gets a little more attention from me when the temp drops under 15degs!

I guess you saw how clear the bikeway was?

Oh come on Shelly.  Riding in NYC after a blizzard is not like riding in the rest of the world after a blizzard.


NYC streets have so much traffic, salt, plow trucks, and steam vents that they do not stay slippery for long.  Do not think of yourself as superman because you are riding today. (Perhaps you have other powers. :>
