My colleague sent me your blog, but I spied your tandem on the ferry
when you visited Governors Island. I work for the State agency that
manages Governors Island. As you may know, we've become something of a
bike mecca over the course of the past couple of years. Of our 275k+
visitors last year, about 25%-40%  rode bicycles on any given day. What
I don't see out here enough tho, are tandems, recumbents, bakfiets, and
other cargo bikes! Any interest in organizing an event on Governors
Island that would showcase all these unusual options?
