I'm in! Here's a link to a video of one of the pieces in Grounds for Sculpture--a famous painting rendered in three dimensions. Anyone recognize it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJOKhAzLUh0&NR=1

Subject: [Bent] Mercer County Sculpture Ride - Sat. Sept. 19
Note: The date of the ride is Sept 19 - not Sept. 13.
In response to popular demand (one other rider expressed interest in doing this ride), I've planned a bike ride featuring the works of Seward Johnson, the creatively eccentric heir to the J&J fortune, as well as a few sculptures by other artists. The ride will start near the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ (exact location to be determined), go past the numerous sculptures in Hamilton twp., and pass by additional creations in downtown Trenton, Pennington, and Lawrenceville for a total ride of about 30-35 miles. Additional attractions along the way include brief stops at the Economy bike shop (the region's largest recumbent dealer) and the Megan Kanka (the inspiration for "Megan's Law") memorial park, as well as a lunch stop. Riders will then have the option of visiting the Grounds for Sculpture after the ride.
Let's meet at 10 AM Saturday. In case of rain, we'll do it on Sunday. Please let me know if you're interested. Steve Friedlander
