I recently came across a fascinating article on the Cycle Genius website  
about the history of 'bents. I had  read stories about Charles Mochet's  
Velocar and how it was banned from racing in 1934, but this article has a lot of 
 interesting tidbits I'd never heard about before. Enjoy:
