Bikers from MARS:
It looks like my e-mail about MARS finances triggered a flurry of replies
and suggestions. Based on your input, I propose the following:
1. I will look into renewing our insurance policy, which was obtained
through the LAB (League of American Bicyclists). This will also involve renewing
our LAB membership. Total cost should be under $100 per year.
2. I would also like to update the MARS flyer that's on our website and
give copies of it to the local bent shop, Economy Bikes in Hamilton, NJ (the
areas largest recumbent dealer). Copies could also be given to other shops
that occasionally sell recumbents. Andy, could you send me the file (word
document?) for the flyer so I can do some editing?
3. The website needs to be updated. I thought Joao was going to do it???
For one thing, my address and e-mail, which appear in the "About" and
"Members" sections of the website should be updated to:
24 Weyburne Rd.
Hamilton, NJ 08690

I agree, let's get the League of American Bicyclists insurance back, &
get up to date with Warren.
