[Bent] Scorpion FX question

Hi All:

I'm new to recumbents and will shortly buy a Scorpion FX.  Can anyone  
tell me about the option they offer called:
Drivetrain DualDrive XT-81.

I remember reading it has an ultra low gear, but I'd like to know more  
about it - how does it differ from the standard gearbox?
