Yes, I still work at Bell Labs. I still work for the same guy who  
hired me over 25 years ago! But layoffs are coming, and I anticipate  
being downsized. I've been interviewing recently and expect to be re- 
employed pretty soon. I, too, qualify for early retirement, so in any  
case I'm not all that concerned.
