[Bent] Lightning P-38, Volae Century/Tour, or Grasshopper?

Hello -- I'm shopping for my first recumbent and after months of researching finally got to take some test-rides this weekend at Bicycle Man in Alfred, NY.  Unfortunately I learned that my short legs rule out a lot of SWB recumbents (could not fit on a Bacchetta Giro 20 or Longbikes Eliminator (couldn't reach pedals), nor a Street Machine (couldn't touch ground), and even a V-Rex was too big, although quite ride-able) (I'm 5'6", with about a 28" inseam).  I'm very eager now to try out a Lightning P-38 in small or medium, a Volae Century or Tour in small or medium, and an HPVelotechnik Grasshopper.  If anyone within about 100 miles of NYC has one of these bikes and might be willing to let a newbie take a turn around the block on their bike, I'd greatly appreciate it!
